Healing by touch is as old as mankind
Reflexology, aromatherapy and massage have been used since ancient times to heal the body and mind. Whilst not diagnosing or prescribing, these complementary therapies can be used to promote relaxation, stress relief and well-being and thus can be beneficial for many conditions such as stress, aches and pains, sleep problems, digestive complaints, circulatory problems as well as others.
Reflexology
Reflexology is a technique that is performed on the feet and, in some cases, the hands. By applying pressure to reflex points on the feet, it is believed there is an effect on the corresponding and connected parts of the body. The aim of the treatment is to promote relaxation, primarily by easing tensions and clearing blockages, thus bringing the body into balance through the stimulation of its own healing process.
Indian Head Massage
Indian head massage has evolved from the ancient Indian Ayurvedic healing technique to include the head, hair, face, neck, shoulders and upper arms. By focusing on these key areas where stress and tension is particularly felt, the whole body can benefit. It is often chosen as the benefits may be felt quickly and is convenient with no need to undress and can be done with or without oils or balms.
