Smoking
Our hotel is completely non smoking in line with Scottish Law.
Currency and credit cards accepted
We accept £ sterling and travellers cheques (sterling only).
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Switch, Solo & Electron,
All cheques require to be accompanied by a valid bank card. We are
happy to arrange account facilities for corporate customers in advance
Medical and dental
24 local doctor/medical service available nearby.
Pets
Well behaved dogs of any kind are welcome, subject to a nightly
charge of £10. Can they please bring their own bedding. Dogs
are not allowed in any of the public areas (except for guide dogs)
Special diets
We cater for just about any special diets, but advance notice is
preferred. Vegetarian options are available at all times in our
lounges and restaurant
Children and families
Children of all ages are welcome. Lovely family rooms are available.
Two children up to the age of 12 will be accommodated free, when
sharing with two adults (paying only for meals as taken)
Cots and high chairs are available. We do not have
baby listening facilities.
Packed and picnic meals
Packed lunch menus are available – must be ordered by 20.00
the previous evening. ‘Gourmet’ packed lunches with
champagne, smoked salmon &c are also available – perfect
for country sportsmen and ‘away days’.
What is and is not included in price
All quoted prices are inclusive of VAT at the ruling rate. There
is no service charge. Gratuities are at the customers’ discretion

How to get here
Driving Directions
From The South
M1, M6, A74, Follow the signs for Stirling, M73, M80, M9 to junction
11.
At junction 11 there is a large roundabout; take the fourth turning
on the left which is sign posted Bridge of Allan. Follow this road
(A9) into the village centre, where you will find the Royal Hotel
on the left-hand side.
From The North
Join the A9 and follow the signs for Stirling/Glasgow. At the junction
of the A9 there is a large roundabout. Take the second turning on
the left, which is sign posted Bridge of Allan. Follow this road
(A9) into the village centre, where you will find the Royal Hotel
on the left hand side.
From Edinburgh Airport
Take the M9 towards Stirling/Perth to junction 11; follow the directions
from junction 11 as above.
From Glasgow Airport
Take the M8 towards Glasgow and the M80 towards Stirling, join the
M9 and follow the directions as above.
By Rail
Take the train to Bridge of Allan train station. When leaving the
station turn right onto the main road (Henderson Street). Continue
through the village, seeing the Royal Hotel on the left-hand side.

Special occasions – if you’re celebrating
one during your stay....we can make it memorable....
Champagne, chocolates, flowers, roses, …. some rooms have
king sized beds. Gourmet packed lunches. Scottish, continental or
champagne breakfast in bed by arrangement
